DIY: Simple Changes

Since I've started sharing my DIY projects, I've been asked on more that one occasion how I find the time to do them them while working a full-time job.  It's not always easy, but when I know I have a few nights free, I'll stock up on supplies on Sunday and then work on it throughout the week.

However, last week was an exception! I was really busy and couldn't devote any time to crafting.  Come Sunday night, things slowed down and I had a few extra minutes to myself.

This project took me less than an hour and all you really need is ONE thing - - a pad of craft paper!

I bought this pad at Michael's for about $6.99 and it's full of 240 sheets of super cute prints.

If you're into scrap booking, you know one that one sheet costs about 40 cents so these pads are a steal!  Each pad comes in a different scheme, I chose "garden florals."

These prints are perfect for adding a pop of color just about anywhere!
Look around your house and see where you could use them.

I had a few spots around my house that needed a little love!

Small changes like this can really add some extra unexpected character to your decor!
And you can do it while watching your favorite reality show so you don't feel like you're completely wasting your life during that hour :)
