DIY Holiday Centerpiece

Hi, everyone!
Hope you all had a great weekend and survived any shopping excursions!

I worked on another holiday decor project this weekend that I wanted to share with you guys.

This one is really easy!
(OK...I know I say that but this time I mean it!)
It's something you can work on with your kids and it only requires a few things!

I made a modern looking holiday centerpiece that can be placed on your dining table, mantle or even a side table.

Here's what you'll need:
various sized sticks  //  glass hurricane or vase  //  pine cones  //  metallic spray paint

Step one: lay out out some paper for floor protection and spray away!
I made half of my sticks gold and half silver because I couldn't decide which color I liked better!

Spray one side, let dry, flip and then spray the other side.

Step two: spray the pine cones.
I love the way the metallic spray looks on these.  They will be used around the base of the hurricane to hold the sticks in place.
Once everything has dried, arrange the sticks in the vase then put in the pine cones.

And that's it! Told you it was easy!

Simple, modern but still very festive!

Do you guys make any of your own holiday decor?
If so, please share below...I'm collecting ideas!
