My First Trunk Club

Over the last few years, I've seen/sampled so many home delivery services (beauty, clothes, wine, etc.) but nothing seemed to fit perfectly with my needs....until I learned about Trunk Club!

Trunk Club is a subscription box through Nordstrom that allows you to schedule delivery as often as you want.  You work with a stylist and let her/him know exactly what it is you are looking for and he/she will put together 10 items and send them your way for approval.  You are able to approve the items before they ship to you - - helping to avoid those items you don't necessarily need. Bonus is if you have a Nordstrom card - it's a free styling fee and shipping fee! (Otherwise you pay just $25). So today, I'm sharing my first experience with Trunk Club. And I ended up keeping more items than I expected!  3 to be exact :)  You'll have to scroll down and see what my final choices were at the end of this post! Posting in order of what I tried on first!

First up was this adorable top by Lush.  I have a bunch of the Lush tunics (they are amazing btw) but never tried anything else from this brand.  The fit was perfect and shockingly, I loved this print! Typically I'm more of a solids girl but thought this color combo was very flattering! (Currently on sale by the way!)

Also wearing a pair of AG jeans they sent.  These are so soft and comfortable and fit like a glove! The regular length is a bit long for me 5'4" otherwise they are perfection.
I mentioned to my stylist (Alicia - you can request her!) that I wear a lot of "athleisure" on the weekends, so she suggested I try on this Zella jacket.  While the quality was fantastic, it was a bit too snug to wear as a layering piece (which is what I'd want it for).  I may try the next size up but I also mentioned wanting to try an alternate option in my next box.
Another printed top! This one was by Hinge - a Nordstrom brand that's quickly becoming a favorite! This top has layered bell sleeves and a empire waist. A lot going on in addition to the print - but I LOVED it!
Next up was a very luxe cardigan by Nic Zoe.  A great basic piece that I can see myself wearing weekly during the fall/winter months.  Super soft and fit perfectly (wearing a small).
This cardigan looked so cute online but on me, sort of eh.  The quality was just a bit too thin and I'm not a big fan of the stone/gray color. Brand is Hinge and is decently priced!

Also wearing a pair of booties by Vince Camuto.  Great fall basic with fun cutout details.  However, if you notice in the pics above I already own a very similar pair.  Bummer!
Both this white top and the jeans both came in my trunk.  The top is a great basic t-shirt but with a fun flare. Fits a bit big, I would size down.

LOVE these jeans.  Such great quality for a lower price point.  They also have some detailing on the back pockets (check them out online).  I'm 5'4" wearing the regular length.
Last, and definitely least, is this wrap dress.  Originally my stylist picked this gorgeous black wrap dress, but it felt a bit too formal for my upcoming needs so I asked for a more casual style dress.  This one just feels a too overwhelming for my body.  Would make a lovely robe though!
I had such a fun time trying on all these clothes, in the comfort of my own home, being able to style the pieces with my own wardrobe - - I can't wait for my next trunk!  You can have them shipped as often as you want (I'm doing monthly) and can customize based on your needs.  I ended up keeping the AG jeans, the Lush top and the Hinge top.
